Today (my last day of parenting a single child) Clay and I had lunch at a local pizza place. There was a group of men and one woman who sat at the table behind me. What a blessing they were. I could gather from their conversation that they were ministers at a local church, and were very involved in a local christian school. I know of both the church and school very well.
This group was such a blessing to sit near. Their interaction with one another was Godly and encouraging. It was not flamboyant, rather it was matter of fact, obviously part of them. They prayed before the meal and asked God's guidance and protection for the church and school.
I had to tell them as I left the restaurant that I appreciated 'The Light' that they exhibited.
You never know who you may affect when you are out. If I were looking for a church, I would certainly check this one out.
I believe God was speaking to me today. Reminding me that people are always watching.
Thank you Lord!

AMEN!!! We were in Lewes this past longweekend with friends and we were discussing how we are influence those around us all the time. Thank you for reminding me how important it is to be be aware of others watching me and in watching me they will see that I am different and by being different is being a positive difference!
Also, simply love momtransformed blog! I put it on my blog as one I frequent more and more. Thank you for sharing the Sikes family. What a talented-God-serving couple they are and what a privilege to be able to benefit from their godly wisdom...if only through the blog writings :-D http://momstransformed.blogspot.com/
My small group began a study of Daniel (Beth Moore). The videos are very intense and make us think about so many things. I plan to write some of my "thinkings" after our camping week. And speaking of camp.
We'll be leaving for Manatawny to work with Matt "his week". Would love for you to visit since you can't be with us. (hint, hint). Love you!!! Plan to have a blog for the week, so check it out!( Or that is the plan...the director says).
Love to all,
Diva T
