For the last several years I have been collecting ideas and scriptures ect. so I can write a boys devotional book. God placed this on my heart while I searched for books to guide our daily devotional time. I haven't been completely satisfied with what I've used, God said 'write your own.' I don't intend it to be published or sold, rather private use and shared with a few close friends.
I'm no where near the 365 days worth of ideas, I might have a months worth of ideas which will expand as they are developed. There are several topics that the Lord has placed on my heart to cover, just a few: leadership, brotherly love, integrity, brotherly love, purity, brotherly love, living by the spirit, brotherly love, prayer, did I mention brotherly love? My heart is always open for what else He may think I need to include.
I intend to ask a few people to collaborate because of their experience and lessons I've heard them give. I have a mom or two in mind to help with the organization and editing Diva L, Kristy hint, hint...
Suggestions and ideas are welcome and encouraged.
Please keep this effort in your prayers. It will be a large undertaking and organization will be required (hummmm, I keep telling myself God knows what he's doing by asking me to do this). Pray specifically, for me not to be so overwhelmed by the process or length of time required to get it right so that I give up the project, also that I won't fall to satan's lies that there isn't a need, finally that I will follow the spirit's lead, not my own or others.

Sorry for the "book" I wrote on an earlier comment! I will definitely be praying for you (but you know that I do). God will be glorified through the boys' lives that you touch with this project.
Way to go!!!
Hey A,
I would be absolutely honored to work on a project like this with you! I guess I get overwhelmed by thinking about daunting projects like this when it's just me, but partnering up (especially with God and a wonderful friend)is always a great idea!
