election day rapidly upon us, I was comforted by this article in our church bulletin today:
Top Ten Predictions No Matter Who Wins the Election
1. The Bible will still have all the answers.
2. Prayer will still work.
3. The Holy spirit will still move.
4. God will still inhabit the praises of His people.
5. There will still be God-anointed preaching.
6. There will still be singing of praise to God.
7. God will still pour out blessings upon His people.
8. There will still be room at the Cross.
9. Jesus will still love you.
10. Jesus will still save the lost who come to Him.
God Approves this message!
It's great to know who is really in Charge!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I must admit I am one of the many still conflicted about who to vote for on Nov. 4th. I don't vote a party line, I vote the person. This year finds me confused about who would do the best job. In the past I felt it was always the lessor of two evils. I don't feel that way this year. I feel a change, a promise of reform from both parties. I also am afraid that once in office the new President will succumb to the pressures that be, and not really be able to change the momentum of our future. I feel like I'm not informed enough to make a decision. I want more time so I can educate myself on the deeper issues. Again back to the comfort as the article states "It's great to know who is really in charge!"
Note: Brenda Collins commented on this post and gave a link to FastCheck so I could be better informed about the candidates. Incase you don't read the comments on other blogs I wanted to share for your benefit as well as mine. Thanks Brenda!
