I'm sick and tired.


What you wanted more?

No, I'm really sick and really tired! So is my lil' Luke. He and I have been home since Tuesday.

Luke's began Sunday night, when he fell asleep in a chair, in the middle of house church (Life Group), I knew something was up. Monday morning he complained a little but went to school anyway. I also went to work (school) and then to college and as the day progressed we each became sicker and sicker.

While sitting in my Shakespeare class I could almost see the people moving their chairs away from me. When Luke got home from school his little lips were the prettiest candy apple red and his fever was 104.4.

Luke didn't have any other symptoms, but I took him to the doctor anyway. He couldn't find anything else wrong with him.

Wednesday I woke up feeling like a new person. But, by Wednesday afternoon I had the chills and a fever again. Thursday I went to the doctor. I have cough syrup with codeine, and a Zpack. I woke up feeling worse today than the previous days.

Luke is going back to the doctor today. He still has a fever and an upset tummy.

Enough is enough already!

I need to re-read my own Gratituesday about health. In reality what's wrong is minor.
