Beach Boys...

This week my mom is staying in Ocean City at a beach house that belongs to a friend of mine from work. They have enjoyed the sun, surf and sand and aren't ready to come home yet. Except my lil' Luke. He's a homebody and plans to come home with me tonight.

I have to pick Zachary up who is going on a father/son camping trip with the boys scouts, and Clay is coming home for his first all-star tournament.

Our house has been too quiet. There is feast or famine around here. Either they are all home and loud and bickering and running around or they are gone and it's too quiet.

As ridiculous as it sounds I am already dreading the days when they are grown up, graduated from college and moved on. The first one leaves for college 6 years from now. Wow, it seems like tomorrow as fast as the years are clicking off. What will I do with my time? No one to run around, no laundry to do, no fridge to keep stocked, no games to race off to. Boo hoo!

In spite of it being too quiet, I have accomplished a lot on my school projects. I'm also making preparations to take my GRE so I can apply to grad school this year.

I'm ready for a little hustle and bustle...bring on the boys!
