Rec season winding down...

On a high!

Wesley's 11 and 12 year old team became the league champions tonight. They were certainly the Cinderella team. We went into the playoffs in last place. A key player was out, for better than half of the season, with a broken foot. He returned the night of our first playoff game (Which of course triggered drama about his eligibility.) He made all the difference! Thanks Josh.

Wesley had to enjoy the final playoff games from the bench. He still earned a 1st place trophy, but feels like he didn't help his team get there. Victory for him isn't as sweet this time as it is when you sweat for it.

Way to go boys! We are proud of you!
