Twinkle, Twinkle...Piano Keys

Clay began piano lessons today. I'm so excited! He's a bit like me at times and very reserved, but I know he enjoyed it. I always wanted to learn how to play, but never had the opportunity. Even if I had had the opportunity I'm not very musically talented. Well, it's truly an oxymoron to use the word talented when refering to me and music in the same sentence. I aint' got none! All the boys will take piano at some point. Right now we only have a keyboard. We are on the search for an affordable decent piano. All donations can be sent to... only kidding! I'm hoping my home will be filled with harmonious music soon. Right now he's learning Twinkle, Twinkle little star.

Way to go Clay. You can learn too, Andrea!!! A mother and son routine...I can see it now in Large Flashing lights on a Billboard. I have an "older" student and she and her son both take lessons :-D Today twinkle twinkle, tomorrow Moonlight Sonata. Keep us posted on his progress and the other boys when they begin their ticklin' of the ivories.

Finally found time to read your blog. Got your letter today. Commented about it on my blog! I bookmarked your blog so I can come back and read more soon. BTW, where in FL does Chuck's mother live? If it's near us and you come for a visit, we want to see you!!)
Much love to you all (and to Tina and Jim, too!)
