In case you don't know what a feether is...don't run to the dictionary. It is a fever! When you're six and don't know how to say words properly you end up with silly words. I hate that the older boys correct Luke when he says words wrong. It's one of the few baby ways he has about him. I'm clinging to each baby way. One morning he'll wake up and be a boy.
We've had a a lot of feether going on around here. Chuck wasn't feeling well last Monday, Wesley and I weren't feeling well on Tuesday, and by Wednesday night he and I both had the chills and the feether. We stayed home on Thursday and Friday. The feether was invented by Luke on Friday who, stayed home too because he caught the feether. Five days later Luke and I are well and Wesley still has the feether. He goes to the Doctor first thing Monday. Zach and Clay have been feetherless!
I began class this past Tuesday. It promises to be a ton of reading and research. I'm intrigued and hopeful. The topic is monsters in Medieval Literature. (I wasn't impressed either, when I first heard the topic.) But, the Lord made it interesting. I've been studying angels, demons, and the spiritual realm. So much of the beliefs about monsters in Medieval lit. is from the Bible, in a warped sort of way. What's frustrating, is that I'm not in a Christian college, and when I begin discussing the historical/spiritual connection eyes glaze over and I am looked at like I have three heads. I suppose I'm the monster! Right now I'm praying about a topic to develop my 30 page, yes I said 30 page paper. The topic is usually the stressful part for me. Once I believe in my topic, I'm married to it and I'm creative enough to pull it together. I'm a bit concerned about running out of steam to organize this paper, that has happened to me a time or two. It will be an exciting journey. Fourteen weeks to go, I think I can, I think I can...I know God can!

Sorry to hear you all are fighting the Feether! I don't blame you at all for keeping them little as long as you can.
Hey in regards to your paper topic. Matt is teaching a class on Western Mythology for Wilmington University at a site downstate. He may have some ideas about a good topic. Drop him a line.
Tina,
I will thanks!! I need all the help I can get. Including your prayers.
Love, DivA
