Happy be-lated anniversary Mr & Mrs. Booth...

Tonight I was checking my blog and on my random playlist the song by Alan Jackson came up "Remember When". It reminded me of my dear sister in Christ who recently celebrated a 30 year wedding anniversary with her husband on March 15th. The good Lord knew I needed Claudia (and apparently she needed me), so he sent her to work with me at Pomona. Each morning I can't wait to go in and see her smile and her very cheerful hello (some days it's more cheerful than others if she's had caffine). We have shared SOOOOO much in the short year and half that we've known one another. We've laughed a lot, cried a lot, talked a lot, and shared the Lord a lot with each other and our co-workers. She is a true blessing to me, in how she lives her life focusing on Christ, as we all should. Not everything is rosy in her life. Yet, she always, always finds the blessings to focus on. One of her greatest blessing is her husband of 30 years. They have been through so much and survived it all because of Jesus's love and forgiveness. The song "Remember When" made me think of their 30 years together. I wish I had thought to mention them sooner, but God placed it on my heart today. Thank you dear friend, for your example as a faithful child of God. You are a blessing!:-} I'm encouraged to be more Christ like because of you!
