Moments like these...

was a topic of conversation with my friend last night on our way home from the movie. We talked about the moments in life when you stop and see your child differently than before, and you think "I see him maturing into a different stage, and my heart aches to hold him just for a moment as that tiny newborn, but I am so proud of who he is becoming". Or moments when you see your husband from across the room and think "Wow, he's so handsome and I love him so much." We live life each day and on occasion God grants us these reconnecting moments. I love them. The other person doesn't even know that you're thinking about them.

I'd never discussed moments like that with someone until Kathy brought it up. Thank you Lord for precious private moments like these.

Oh my, sounds like you're living my life right now. I look at Megan and Lindsay as they are developing as a couple and has stronger Christian individuals and my heart remembers, for Megan, when she was little and now, she is grown! I see little child-like qualities in Matt and see how some of "our child-training methods" being used while he serves the children, especially at Camp this week. I see the best friend God has ever blessed me with, my Jim, and my heart leaps like it was the first time we dated. Oh my so precious private moments. My eyes are filled with tears just writing about them. I feel that is why I chose to title my blog LivingRLives together because those daily, non-special moments in our lives.

I'm sure those "moments" are universal, but we never talk about them. I'm glad it brought you tears of joy in remembering. I love you!
