Except for the the hair...

we have a great dog, whose personality fits our family really well. His name is Skipper.

He has never chewed on things that don't belong to him, he doesn't mess in the house, and he's not a yapper. He adores me. (All the things I've looked for in a man, and found in my wonderful husband) :-)

He follows me around the house; sometimes a little too close. Chuck is afraid that he will give me a wedgie if I stop to soon going up the stairs. I could never play hide and seek with him around, he'd give me away. He is always in the room with me, with his nose pointed in my direction. He may be across the room, but he's zoned into me.

A few months ago he began a nasty habit of getting into the trash. Why after four years of good behavior? We still don't know?

His most recent escapade is eating bread. I left bread on the dining room table one day and he ate the whole loaf. He's repeated this several times. Just tonight while we were out he was so bold that he jumped up on the counters in the kitchen to get bread products! He's become desperate!!! His latest victim, hamburger buns, eight of 'em! Gone in a flash. All that's left is a holey bag.

It's not like we don't leave food down all day for him (I know the vet says only feed the once a day). He's just being ornery. Bad DOG!! Go to your bed...
