Happy Birthday Baby Boy...

Today our baby turned 7. Wow! Where have the years gone. He's actually the only child we planned. The other three were all answers to my prayer that we wouldn't have to try. If God wanted it to happen it would, and it did! After Clay, I just didn't feel done. So we planned to have one more, if God willed it. Here he is a precious soul. He's a tender heart, baby through and through, loving, funny and sweet. His vocabulary is prodigous given his age, and has been for several years now. He's had several nicknames, but my favorite is Lukealicious, given to him by one of his Bible teachers. He's known as 'the crusher' on the baseball field, hitting the ball way into the outfield. He hasn't hit any dandelion pickers yet. He loves "Deadlest Catch", he knows the names of all the boats and all the terminology that goes with the job. He says "when I grow up, I'm going to be a boat captain with my dad...I know, I know mom, after I go to COLLEGE!" He's dad's buddy. He loves me, but he worships his dad. I'd say I'm jealous, but it's so cute I can't be. He's a gift from God. Thank you Lord!
