20 Years ago today...

...Chuck and I met! Several of us from church were going to see Christmas lights, we invited him to go too. He was too tired. I realized I was tired too, I had spent most of the day travelling to NJ, so I begged off as well. About an hour later my parents phone rang; it was Chuck. He was ready to go, but unaware that the whole thing collapsed. I was willing to go with him even though I had decided I was tired; I didn't want to make him feel bad. He didn't want to just the two of us, so he invited his sister, and I took mine. I thought he was afraid of me and didn't want to be alone with me. It took about a day and a half for him not be afraid of me. His sister and I convinced him to take us to New York the day after Christmas to sight see. He dropped his big plans of hunting in order to take us. That day sealed it. The next day we started talking about marriage and spending our lives together. I guess after 4 kids and 20 years I'm not to scary for him to be alone with.
