It's raining it's pouring...I wish I were still snoring...

...or reading a good book, cooking something or back at camp.

For the fourth straight day it's raining. I should be vacuuming, straightening the desk and telephone area, cleaning out the garage and whole list of other chores... Instead I want to curl up with a good book or cook a healthy pot of soup. I'm not sure if it's just the weather that has put me in such a mood. It may be a phone tag conversation I've had with someone. We've exchanged a short series of phone messages which came out all wrong!

I truly live my life trying NOT to offend people. In earnest I try to weigh what I say before I say it. However, there is this one person that I seem to offend just be existing. Unfortunately it's a person that I have to have contact with from time to time, there's no way around it. I limit the contact so that I don't offend that person more frequently. I compare it to being a teenage girl who likes a boy, when she is in his presence everything she says comes out wrong, even though she rehearsed it a hundred times. Remember that? Here I sit pondering what my next words will be. I know they should be words to God...the human side of me struggles with this.
