Home again, Home again...

This past weekend I spent in Delaware with 3 friends. It's amazing how and who God sends into your life. Two of these friends I met at Camp Manatawny 15 years ago, one I met at camp 10 years ago. We are all different and on very different paths in life. We have the same purpose- to live Godly lives and be His servant until he returns. We live in three different states DE, PA and NJ. Each time we are together we pick up right where we left off.

Our weekend was too fast. We were pampered at a spa, Tina arranged everything and it was perfect. We had lunch at Panera's (mmm, mmm, good!) Then we shopped for dining room furniture for Lisa (it's always nice to spend someone else's money.) We went to K-mart for sneakers for Chris (I don't recommend it!) and then hung out the rest of the night at Tina's. We ate soup, salad and choc. fondue. We played Phase 10, laughed a lot and ate a lot. These friends I can be real with, silly with, serious with and I know at the end of the day they still love me. I can completely let my guard down with them. There is deep comfort in knowing that about friends. We were originally 5 friends. Lisa Reece passed away a year ago. We shared a prayer and serious moment for her and laughed for her too. She would want the laughter. I can still see her and hear her enjoying life. We love you Lisa!

I know God put these women in my life for a reason, and I know he hand picked them for me. Which in turn means he placed me in their lives for a reason. Being chosen by God is overwhelming to say the least. Thank you friends and thank you Lord.

Life is good...Eternal life is better!! (I know my friends will be there with me)

Do you think they have deep tissue massages in heaven and chocolate fondue?

Just wanted to let you know how much I love you all and I have always appreciated how you can laugh and love life. Thank you so much for the beef pot pie. It was very good. I have your dish (a reason to come and see you). Let me know when a good time is for you...I would love for Chuck to see Mia and have enough time that everyone gets to hold her for a few. I know how hard it is to find time!! Love you guys so much!

I, too, enjoyed the weekend! It went WAY too fast, but I feel the same any time we are together.

You are such a blessing in my life! You are my long, lost...but now found...sister.

I love you!

Thanks for the pix!
