by several family members and friends for not keeping up with my blog. A huge apology to you all. I'm thankful that you enjoy my writing. If it makes you feel any better...I haven't kept up with reading my friends blogs either. There's been no time, and no writing inspiration.
I can't believe my last post was March 30th. So much has happened since then. I graduated from college, two of our sons completed their first season of Lacrosse (in the future referred to as LaX), one son performed in his first dance recital, we've had two injuries (not serious) that required several trips to the orthopaedic and x-ray offices, our baby turned eight, and the school year is all but gone (seven days and counting.)
The month following my last post was very busy. It was my last month of undergraduate study. There were many papers to write, my kids were busy with sports (which meant I was busy with sports), and I couldn't keep up with the housework or laundry. I am proud to say that with God's help I finished strong. My final semester I had a 4.0. I was disappointed that I missed graduating with honors by .10. It bothered me for a week or so, and I even allowed satan to use it discourage me. He kept saying "you didn't work hard enough", "you weren't smart enough", "see you always come up short in everything you try." Of course he knows my mind falls easily to his lies and since then he has said "I bet you couldn't handled the work if you had gone to...(insert a major university here.)" He reminds me that I just went to a state college. Hum....I still fall into that trap on occasion. Then I think of my professors and the standard they held, I'm reminded that satan is a liar!!
On May 9th with my mom, husband, four sons, and my sweet friend Claudia present I walked! My only regret is I didn't put MOM 4 BOYS on my cap. I saw all the sorority girls with their Greek letters on their caps. I wonder if it's an acceptable practice in grad. school? I might not care!
I received my diploma in the mail the other day. It was a nice feeling to have it in my hands. I worked hard and accomplished something many, many mothers have said "I wouldn't have done it if my circumstances were the same as yours." Referring to of course being a mother of four sons, a husband whose gone three weeks out of the month, and working part time. What can I say? I wanted it! God made it abundantly clear that he blessed it.
God provided everything from childcare, class scheduling, finances, and meals. I'm not saying it was stress free and a bed of roses. There were times when I'd say to myself "WHAT AM I DOING?" because it was stressful, tiring, and a lot of work.
I'm thankful for what he provided! As always it's a blessing to be an heir to the King.
Lord willing, this won't be my first and last update. I'll post more of the happenings from the last two months, the next several days.

Welcome back! I've missed you! And thanks for not listening to Satan's lies for too long...Jesus took care of that and then said, "IT IS FINISHED!" So, don't undo what Jesus did! :)
.
You my dear friend are more than fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank you for doing the college thing and being able to say, "IT IS FINISHED!"
.
I love you and am very proud of you,
Patti
I still don't know how you did graduate with all the hats that you wear! It was God's guidance of you daily schedule and showing you what you needed to do each day to make your dream a possibility. I am SOOOOOO proud of you and who your are...not only a child of God, but a sister of mine in Christ. I love you girlfriend!!
